Baltimore MVA Hearing Lawyer
Have you been charged with DWI?
A person can be arrested in this state and charged with driving while intoxicated if their blood alcohol content (BAC) is 0.08%. If you are a commercial driver, you can be charged with DWI with a BAC of 0.04% or greater. When you have been charged with DWI, you have 10 days from the date of your arrest to schedule a MVA administrative hearing. The purpose of the hearing is to determine whether or not your driver's license will be permanently suspended. Failing to schedule or attend the hearing will result in an automatic suspension on the 46 day following your arrest. If you schedule the hearing after the 10th day but within 30 days, your license will be suspended until the date of your hearing.
Your MVA hearing is an important part of the DUI process. A skilled
Baltimore DWI lawyer can explain the hearing process and provide the effective representation you will need to protect your driving privileges.
